The downhill skiers from NS84 in Nuuk have a new club sponsor following an agreement with Adserballe & Knudsen Greenland.
“For over 50 years Adserballe & Knudsen Greenland has worked on construction projects in all parts of Greenland and we have a good reputation,” says Niels Laursen, General Manger of Adserballe & Knudsen Greenland. He goes on saying:
“The distances, and the logistical environments are a constant challenge and the climatic challenges associated with working in Greenland are hard. Just like our skilled craftsmen the skiers from NS84 face the same grueling challenges and do their best to overcome them. We want to support them in their training and in reaching their goals.”
-Adserballe & Knudsen Greenland has had a long history of working in the Greenland and wants to support and do our share in the local community).
Both children and adults use the ski slopes for training and the ski lift is a social meeting point. Many members of NS84 participate in championship events in and outside Greenland but it is expensive to attend these competitions. This sponsorship will enable the people of Nuuk to keep their lift and slopes open and allow them to continue to compete on a larger regional level by training locally.
“We like to contribute to sports and to the community of Nuuk,” says Niels Laursen, General Manger of Adserballe & Knudsen Greenland which for over 50 years has worked on construction projects in all parts of Greenland.
