THULE AIR BASE – Exchange and APO, Building 211

Complete renovation of a 1950′s building at Thule Air Base, which during the last 70 years have had several purposes; once a Diner for the base personnel.

The project included demolition of everything inside the building except load bearing wooden frame. Existing facades and roof was kept, but clad in new surfaces.

Inside the building was divided into 3 separate functions; Base Exchange, APO and TELE.
All new installations was made for HVAC, sprinkler, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm etc., and new walk-in cooler and freezer facilities was built in.

In addition to this new insulated walls, ceilings and floors and all surface materials.

The project was carried out from April 2013 to November 2013.
